Fr Andrew Perry has been the parish priest of St Mary the Virgin since October 2017. He’s married to Alison and they have two children in their 20s: Hannah and James.
Tall, gifted, good looking, rich, elegant... these are just some of the words Fr. Andrew would like to use to describe himself. Sadly only one of these is true, and at just over 6 feet tall he is wary of venturing outside in high winds.
His hobbies include all things to do with food & cooking; he enjoys murder stories and cycling (although not at the same time). He loves France and the South Downs, hates celery and needles, once visited Russia and his best man’s uncle was at Art College with John Lennon. His ambition is to retire at the age of 55, fabulously wealthy from the sale of a best selling novel, to a small island in the sun and grow tomatoes.
